Nepalese White Tea
White Prakash Tea
An award-winning Himalayan white tea and 2019 Global Tea Championship Bronze Medal winner, White Prakash has a soft, velvety character with delicate floral notes, spring blossoms, hints of vanilla and muscatel, finishing with a smooth, buttery sweetness.
Ideal for those drawn to Bai Mu Dan or lighter Taiwanese oolongs, it offers a surprising depth and aromatic complexity. Its distinctive character comes from an unusual approach to processing: the hand-picked First and Second Flush leaves, consisting of one tender leaf and a bud, are naturally withered before being gently rolled for 8–10 minutes. This releases the leaves’ aromatic oils before drying, giving the tea a fuller fragrance and its characteristic “Silvery Oolong” quality.
Grown at 1,300–1,800 metres in the Himalayan foothills near Mount Kanchanjanga, the tea comes from an area between Darjeeling and Ilam, surrounded by the cool mountain conditions that help create its distinctive aromatic profile.
